We are Simone and Ben. We first bought Charlie & Collette Vintage Caravan Bar in February 2018, after falling in love with the van. Since then the business and our passion has grown beyond our expectations.

Originally from the WA Wheatbelt we moved to Busselton for a sea change but also to further Simone’s career in the events industry. Simone’s career in events began as a barmaid at the Mt Lawley Golf club and Crown Complex. She moved up to being a bar manager at the Freebairn Recreation Centre then further as the Centre Manager. Thanks to the community where Simone grew up she went on to volunteer as the Director of Entertainment for the Kulin Bush Races – where it is her role to organise and host bands for the weekend long event and this is where her passion for seeing the final results of all the hours put into an event began. kulinbushraces.com.au
